Common Problems

If the webcam does not appear in the list:

1/ Verify that your webcam does not show up in the list. It is possible that Windows reset its name.

2/ Verify that you plugged in your webcam before launching the browser. If you didn’t, restart your browser.

If this does not work, contact us.

If you see a black screen or a “camera unavailable” type of message instead of the image, your webcam may currently be in use by another software program (ex. Skype). The webcam needs to be made available.

If this does not work, contact us.

If the webcam image shakes a lot or is frozen, this indicates a network problem on the webcam user’s side.

If the problem is coming from something else, contact us.
